02Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account details — name, work email, organization, and password credentials
• Media files you submit for scanning (processed ephemerally — see below)
• Consultation and contact requests, including any message you include
• Email addresses submitted to download gated research reports
• Technical information such as IP address, browser type, and device information

03Ephemeral media processing

Uploaded media is processed for deepfake detection and deleted immediately after the scan completes. We do not retain your original files. Forensic PDF reports derived from a scan are stored so you can retrieve them later. We never store sensitive biometric data beyond the duration of scan processing.

04How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the detection platform
• Deliver scan results, forensic reports, and transactional notifications
• Respond to consultation requests and support inquiries
• Send research you have requested and, with consent, related updates
• Analyze usage trends and improve the product experience

05Data protection compliance

We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and applicable data-protection laws in the markets we serve. Personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and our verdicts carry NDPC-aware context precisely because we take these obligations seriously ourselves.

06Information sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers that operate the platform on our behalf — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and detection infrastructure — under confidentiality agreements.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including encrypted transport and private report storage.
